The Management of Bosomtwe Rural Bank has launched a dress code that easily differentiates staff of the bank from their business associates.
The dress code, a blue-black suit with badge depicting the name plate of the bank, and a similar one with grey colours.
The suit would be used by workers during the weekdays to enhance effective interaction between the staff and clients of the bank.
The bank has already launched a Friday wear which depicts the green colours and black backgrounds of the bank.
The launch of the dress code coincided with the inauguration of the Bosomtwe Ladies Association (BOLAS) — a social club that promotes the interest and welfare of female workers of the bank.
Briefing The Mirror about the initiative, the Supervising Manager of Bosomtwe Rural Bank, Mr Felix Owusu Achiaw, said the launch of the dress code became necessary “because we want our workers to appear unique, smart and easily recognised by our cherished customers”.
He expressed the hope that the staff would not only be motivated to work hard, but would also have fruitful interaction with customers to enable the bank to realise its objective of delivering quality service to customers.
On the inauguration of the Bosomtwe Ladies Association, Mr Owusu Achiaw said the club was meant to address the needs of female workers, motivate them to strive for the best and encourage them to compete favourably with their male counterparts.
This, he said, would enable them to assume responsible positions in the future.
